Do other countries besides the U. S. observe Memorial Day?

Some do, but it's on other days. Memorial Day is to honor U.S. Veterans, so it's a U.S. holiday. Other countries honor their veterans on other days...kinda like Canada's Thanksgiving Day is on a different day than U.S.'s Thanksgiving Day.

In Canada it is call Victoria Day..was last Monday..:)
