Have you ever sent your child to a summer camp? For how long and what did he/she think of it? Do you think it is a good idea?

this child went to summer camp for two weeks. it was fun. i made a couple short term friends. i didnt like kitchen duty. i didnt like sleeping in a dorm. i wanted my own room. i would have rather been home, where i could control my parents. it was a good memory.

I went to a summer camp. It was during the day, and i made a few friends.. my favorite part was swimming, until we got a thunderstorm. That was so long ago, and i remember it, because it was fun :)
