Are you glad that Kris Allen won American Idol or did you want Adam Lambert to win? and why?

I like Kris ok, and I wish him well. But I was completely shocked that he won. I've always thought Adam was the most talented and the better showman. I think he will go a lot further than Kris (just like the seasons that Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks won).

I was rooting for Adam and I was shocked that Kris won as well. I thought Adam had it in the bag but I guess I was wrong. I was wondering what the final vote tally was but I guess they don't give out that information.

I think it was very telling that Kris admitted that he didn't practice the song they both sang - that's how sure he was that Adam should win. It's obvious that "Idol" is now even more a popularity contest, since the "tweenie dreamboat" won out over the person who was the better singer and overall entertainer. Adam, you got rooked big time.
