That's the ignorance of racism (and any other kind of prejudice). They're raised being taught lies and b.s. and grow up believing all that garbage is true and that they really are better than those they hate. It's incredibly sad, really.

Because they believe that their racist comments are actually the truth. They don't know how to practice perspective-taking and imagine what life is like for the people that they denigrate.

Some people consider me racist just cause I like the confederate flag to me its heritage not hate but to other people they consider it racist you see how people can get confused.
