  • Go to your guidance councilor and have the them give you a note that requires you to sign in with every teacher. By doing this, no one can accuse you of cutting.
  • I'm assuming that you mean self-mutilation like cutting your arms or legs. The problem is that your family probably loves you and is concerned for you. At the same time, they probably lost some confidence in your capability for making reasonable decisions with their finding out you cut yourself. With time, their trust in you will be rebuilt as you show them that you have move past that and are capable of dealing with your problems in ways that are not self-destructive. Actions speak louder than words. You can tell them you've stopped all you want but you'll have to prove that you have, in fact, stopped.
  • Just focus on the fact that they care.....and also they know, because they are older and more knowledgable about these things, that the chances of you slipping back are high....they LOVE you and are showing it.
  • show them to prove that you are not but also use it as a way to stop you slipping into the old habbits
  • Say: "I'm disappointed in you for accusing me of something I'm not guilty of." Prove that you aren't cutting by showing them your arms and your legs. If you're not cutting, there shouldn't be any marks there anyway.
  • Just calmly let them know that you're doing fine. If you answer their questions without getting upset, they'll be more likely to trust you. In the meantime, be glad that they care.
