Of course there has been a run. There might be a few reasons. 1)Fake numbers repeated by all administration members to garner support for an assault weapon ban. Where it was claimed that 90% of Mexican drug cartel guns have been traced to the US, the actual percentage is 17%. 2)Threat of a LARGE increase in excise tax on firearms and ammo. 3)Very anti 2A attorney general 4)History of being anti-gun, from an anti-gun city in an anti-gun state. 5)Threat of micro engraved ammunition. 6)Outright contempt for gun owners. However, I'm just a bitter Pennsylvanian who clings to my guns and my bible.

Yes. Obama said he'd like to make the assault weapons ban (which accomplished nothing) permanent. This has caused people who like exercising their constitutional rights to go out and exercise it... while they still can.
