People often use it when they travel through many time zones or if they do shift work and have to adjust to a new shift time. You can get it at nearly any drug store or supermarket in the vitamins area. Also darkening the room, turning off lights, tv's music etc. can help you stimulate your own melatonin production.

Um idk really but I always lay down and read a book that actually interests me and usually next thing I know I am sleep! But if that don't work call a girl you really like and listen to there voice and you will be asleep in no time. If all that fails listen to some soothing music

I have heard of melatonin too; however, you should not over use because it can be depressive. I like taking one tylonol PM. If I take two I'm groggy in the morning.
