no unless she has parental supervision when she is not working
-
How savvy is she? Can she hold her own in a large metropolitan city? Is she a good judge of character? If so I think it would be the chance of a lifetime. However at 17 you are still legally responsible for her safety and welfare.
-
If I had daughters...I might let the ugly one but no not the pretty one.
-
Not alone by any means. She is still a minor and the resposibility of her parents. The daughter goes only if a parent is their to supervise her.
-
Yes assuming I was sure my daughter had a good head on her shoulders.
-
Depends. Is she more like Chelsea Clinton or the Bush twins? Come to think of it, the answer would be yes in either of those cases.
-
What does being pretty have to do with it? I don't know what Washington's like. Or what a Senate page is, even though I've been trying to learn the difference between the Senate and the House of Representatives for about five bloody hours. Yeah, if she wanted. The fact I'm 17 and have no daughters kind of makes me not such a good person to answer this, but let's do it anyway.

It would be up to how mature she is... where she would be staying.... and if she would be looked after while she was there...:)
-
Is it a good opportunity for her? - She is still technically a child, but at some point very soon you will have to trust her on her own and I suspect your biggest concern is others - you will have to trust them around her too. It may be worth giving her the chance to benefit from what sounds like a fantastic opportunity. I would find out what the arrangements would be, whether she will have safe accomodation etc... if it all looked safe then yes. I do not have children.
-
Let's see, opportunity of a lifetime, not offered to just anyone with a pretty face, but people who already have a track record of intelligence and accomplishment. Yes, of course. I would make sure there are arrangements to keep her as safe as possible. Usually with that sort of program, the senators are well aware the person is still a minor, and there are house mothers and so on for the people who are in the program. If she's reasonably mature, I say yes.
-
I had a friend who did that at 17 and she was gorgeous. Nothing happened to her but she was not a slut. It really depends on your daughter. The question is not whether your daughter will be taken good care of but if she can take care of herself.
-
If the maturity is there. It would be a great experience for her. Give her the safety talk and support her.
-
yes, i would trust her not to do anything stupid. and those positions are competitive and hard to get, so if she got the position, i'd let her go.
-
No NO NO. Not with those pervs.
-
It would be a good opportunity for her, but I would make sure she has a supply of pepper spray and a stun gun :-)
-
NO...nor a 17 yr old son...politics are nasty business...i would never want a child of mine to aspire to be involved with them ,period....they have no more business there than hollywood , mexico ,etc..for summer...now a habitat for humanity deal of sorts...would not think of stopping them...BUILDS CHARACTER!!!...:)
-
Probably not. I prefer corruption to be outside of my family.
