  • Yes, very much so. She's far sweeter than any chemical perfume could ever be.
  • yes it does. i totally crave that smell... pheremones are very powerful attractors. i love his smell. and your theory is correct according to this documentary i watched recently and several studies ive read. scientists studied the power of smell and its relation to selection of sexual partners and found that scent plays a vital role in selecting healthy partners (thus ensuring viable progeny as you said). also, women gave off stronger, more appealing scents to men during time of ovulation. studies also have shown that womens odor sensitivity to male hormones increases dramatically during ovulation. on the opposite end of the spectrum, one of the tests involved subjects smelling swatches of fabric saturated with the body scent of family members ~ in every single instance they found the smell repulsive. this is natures way of preventing inbreeding ~ recessive genes (especially if repeated like the medicis!) can cause physical & health defects.
  • Sure. Love is the intoxication of all 5 of the senses.
  • I've heard this and know it must be true, and it kind of sucks: I met a really cool guy in London, and we had all these shared interests & he was funny & all that usual stuff, but something about his "smell" (not even a bad smell) told me we weren't chemically compatible. I just couldn't make it happen. Has anyone gotten beyond that in a relationship?
  • I love my bf's smell.. so sexy.
