  • Faith is the knowledge of some fact or existence when there is no empirical evidence to prove the fact or existence. The most obvious is God, but faith in friends who will, as human beings, defy all odds and perform in a manner which may be against their instincts in certain situations for the support and well being of someone else.
  • Faith in oneself means they really believe in what they do,for themselves and others.Faith is connected to religion but the term was not started with religion.Faith in ones self opens up new opportunities for themselves financially, socially ,etc, and thus have the ability to have faith in others for no man is an island.
  • Faith, to me, is believing in something or someone, without any kind of proof nor guarantees, that that in which you are believing, is WORTHY of your faith or belief. It's "unconditional trust" in something (a ladder, for example, or a bridge) or someone (President Obama?).
  • Faith is believing in something when you know damn good and well it's not true.
  • I was told that faith stands for feeling as if there's hope. To me it means to believe in something (in my case God) without proof
