The New York Philharmonic...I think at the time there were 112 people in the band.

I saw a band of Hell's Angels driving along the 610 Loop in Houston, Texas. Must have been 300 of them, on the way to a convention (or to rob a liquor store).

Greatest (not biggest), probably Genesis in the seventies, before Phil Collins polluted the sound too much.

Count Bassie in 1980. Don't recall exactly how many were in the band, but about 15 musicians on stage.

well, the biggest I guess...talkin fame here was Metallica....biggest show? Slipknot at Ozfest! that was HUGE!!!
