Will you be disappointed when you die and find out there's no god or afterlife?

How would I be? If there's no afterlife, I would just cease to exist so I wouldn't realize my disappointment.

If there is NO afterlife ; then I won't be there to find out .. will I ? However; I already KNOW that life continues onward and upward with our souls when we pass over .. so I am not afraid ... as I won't be disappointed.

I am willing to bet I will feel a lot better than those who do not believe and find out that the afterlife and God is real.

Without existence you wouldn't be able to feel disappointment. I guess this is one area I do envy those who believe in heaven, that I have a fear of death. Death is the end, and however misguided I feel people might be, not fearing death must be a wonderful feeling
