Read, accumulated knowledge, used the library, spoke to others experienced in their fields of knowledge, questioned, experimented and explored... Google is swell but...sadly instead of building a more informed population it's cultivating idiocy I think.

The same thing I do now, use Ask.com or Yahoo. I've boycotted google for years. I don't remember the last time I used it.

I shudder to think of the primative search engines that ran on gasoline power. It was almost impossible to type in song lyrics to find the name of the song. I remember one time I typed "Who Sang..." and it gave me the link to some Japanese artist. Funny...

I believe I recall having 3-4 different search engines I used. Most of them are still around, but just not near as prominent as Google. ;-)
