Nothing - at least that is the intent, although I find it hard to lift myself to vacuum well under there, so there is probably some dust that doesn't belong there.

This makes me sound like a slob. Several pairs of very thick winter tights and stump socks are stored under my mattress because they are too hot to wear until winter, and my bureau drawers are too full. I have no idea why I do this instead of using a bureau in one of the other bedrooms.

Well we just moved in, so just the doors that used to cover the laundry area, and a safe which is serving as one leg of our bed which somehow got bent up during one of our moves.

I just have a box spring ... but my father in law has CASH under his!!! YIKES!!

Just the base, 'cos I took the legs off last October when 8 kittens were born under my bed. Managed to lift the bed (no mean feat), move the kittens and remove the legs pronto in case MUmmy puss decided to put them right back!
