Is love enough to stay with someone? (excluding the obvious of violence and infedility) if this person makes some bad choices, is it ok to stay just coz you love them?

If kids are involved no way. If it is just an adult he/she can do whatever the heck rings his/her chimes and floats the boat. A bad choice once might be ascribed to immaturity...consistent bad choices means the person is a bad choice for a partner. Grownups can throw their lives away loving bums but they have no right to throw away the lives of their children..none whatsoever! :)

I feel everyone has made some bad choices at one time or another... would hate to think I couldn't be loved for what I did in my past and paid for it..:)

nobodys perfect but if violent 2 u get out now!!!!!!!! Infidelity is not just about sex outside the relationship, but about trust, betrayal lying and disloyalty.[1] how can u be with someone who u dont thrust even if u love them i cudnt

It depends on if you are married. If you're married, you need to honor the vow you made unless they are beating or cheating. If your spouse is screwing up in some way, deal with it. Nobody promised life wouldn't have a few disappointments.

I (in general) would say it's ok to stay and if it's a marriage a person SHOULD stay. . However, any bad choices short of violence and infidelity covers a lot of ground. If this is a question for a real person in a real relationship with a person who makes real bad choices I would have to know what is actually happening before making a definite recommendation.

One needs to remember their survival first.Loving someone who is abusive can be bad for ones health.
