  • yes magnets work just the same as they do on earth except they don't have to deal with gravity or airflow. if magnets didnt work neither would electricity.
  • Magnets influence each other through magnetic fields which radiate from their positive and negative poles. These fields do not require a medium (like air) through which to influence other magnets. Therefore magnets will work on earth, in space, and everywhere inbetween.
