Hi, I m cuban so, sorry my english, I would like to someone with some background in financial terms to tell why some market products cost $XX.99 cents, I mean, I need only the explanation of the 99 cents, why always 99 and not the all rounded number?

    becaus estudies have shown it's an easy number to remember. People always look at the first digit ( 4.99) and they are tricked to thinking 4 dollars. It has been overused since the discov er was made, so now i think it's just common practice.
