The Holy Bible is the God breathed Word of God. The Bible is without error and is 100% true . It is Gods' gift to mankind and a record of His love for us. The person who gave me a -4 should say what they think of the Bible and not just act like a scared school girl and hit my points and run. Jesus is Lord and He reigns forever and ever Amen

It is a Christan doctrent and it does give out advice and an insitght on how we form morals, as well as shortin the story of evoluion.
God did tell the people what to write but humans wrote it.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
    furnished unto all good works.

    1. The Bible awakens faith, the source of all obedience. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)
    2. The Bible frees from sin.
You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. (John 8:32)
    3. The Bible frees from Satan.
The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:24-26)
    4. The Bible sanctifies.
Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. (John 17:17)
    5. The Bible frees from corruption and empowers godliness. His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. (2 Peter 1:3-4)
    6. The Bible serves love.
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment. (Philippians 1:9)
But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. (1 Timothy 1:5)
    7. The Bible saves.
Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. (1 Timothy 4:16)
Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God. (Acts 20:26)
[They will] perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2:10)
    8. The Bible gives joy.
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (John 15:11)
    9. The Bible reveals the Lord.
And the Lord appeared again at Shiloh, for the Lord revealed himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the Lord. (1 Samuel 3:21)
    10. Therefore, the Bible is the foundation of my joyfull home and life and ministry and hope of eternity with God.

My brother. What you are saying is interesting. In fact I would love to know more. So, when you tell me and the world that the authors of the bible and the ones who make Christianity popular, can you explain that? All the authors have been dead some 2,000 years or more. Also who are these people who are promoting Christ if not Christians. Can you give me names, studies and proof that some or any or all of the Bible is a hoax. I want to learn. For me it is the living Word of God but if you want to say these things can you back it up with real proof yourself?

I wouldn't sum up the content of the Bible, because I don't think it represents a single, uniform tradition/faith system/theology/etc. I would sum up its form to say its the primary scripture of the Christian tradition.

"ACCOMPLISHED"...in a sense "Jesus pretty much did make the OLD TESTAMENT OBSOLETE...as HE FULLFILLLED the PROPHECY of Gen. 3=woman's seed..:)
the Beginning (Genesis) the End (with the REVEALING of REVELATION) = the Alpha and the Omega..
as Christ said , "It is ACCOMPLISHED/COMPLETE"
the Bible's SOLE PURPOSE was to keep GOD HOLY and ALIVE till the SAVIOR was BROUGHT DOWN and SACRIFICED for HOPE for all man...
the "seed plot" in Genesis to the THINGS THAT WILL COME....
    best summation...DIVINE TRUTH....:)

Here is the Bible in 50 words:

    God made.
    Adam bit.
    Noah arked.
    Abraham split.
    Joseph ruled.
    Jacob fooled.
    Bush talked.
    Moses balked.
    Pharaoh plagued.
    People walked.
    Sea divided.
    Tablets guided.
    Promise landed.
    Saul freaked.
    David peeked.
    Prophets warned.
    Jesus born.
    God Walked.
    Love talked.
    Anger crucified.
    Hope died.
    Love rose.
    Spirit flamed.
    Word spread.
    God remained.

For the whole Bible see: http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/

    With love in Christ.
