Question

Help answer this question below.

I've had a horrible sore throat for 2 whole weeks now and no matter what I do it's no getting any better! I went to the doctor and they said it was just irritation and it would go away in a few days. Needless to say it hasn't and it hurts so bad! Help!?

    The only thing you can do, is drink lots of water, Don't drink Orange Juice, cokes, fizzy drinks, hot drinks all of which just irritate it and make it worst.

    I usually take aspirin for a sore throat. It works pretty good. If that does not work, though, I would suggest you call your doctor again.

    Any sore throat that lasts two weeks could be serious. Did the doctor do a throat culture to rule out strep?
