  • I'm not sure if animals think about their mortality on a day-to-day basis, but I do believe that they know when they are about to die, or when death is near. Not to be graphic, but if you have ever had the unfortunate experience of witnessing the kill floor of an abbatoir, you will know what I mean. Not only that, but if you have ever had a pet that has been badly hurt or is very sick, you can see in their eyes that they know what is happening.
  • Yes. You ever heard of the "Tamworth Two"? The two Pigs that ran away from the Abattoir? Also...you know humans aren't the only one with a death ritual...there is one other species...Elephants. Elephants will bury their dead, they will stand over a dead body for days and days, they will help one another during times of trouble and they will also become very still and quiet when theycome across the bones of the dead. They, in my opinion, are the most intelligent of any animal...and definetly have a deep sense of death and grief. But yea...animals in general definetly know when something bad is about to happen to them.
  • must say from the evidence to date yes at least some do-shame we havent figured out yet now to communicate with some of them----just my thoughts-cool question-have some points---smile and enjoy the night
