yes the reason the west has the cowboys and outlaws and a better terrtain to fight flat parries and the Rockies.

That depends on if the west was the side of states independence. I would have fought for the south in the original civil war. I don't support slavery but I do think the federal government exercises unconstitutional power over the states.
