I was reading on astros.com near the begeinning of the 2009 MLB Season. They were saying how they could win 90 Games this season and this is the best team since 04 or 05 do you think this is true?

I think that while they have made a LOT of improvements that is in reality an overstatement. However, if they stay healthy and the chemistry is good - sure, why not? After all, look at this year's KC Royals - they're hot and they look really good.

The Astros will need to start winning a lot more games if they are to reach 90 wins in the 2009 season.

The Astros are and have always been a second half team for some reason. I expect them to go on a roll and win the central division by a game or two over the Cardinals. They need some starting pitching though at some point.

I thought it was true at the beginning of the season, but now it's virtually impossible for them to get the wildcard.
