I have a tendency to stick with things for the long haul, even in the direst situations. At some point though, when it has long appeared hopeless I may be more willing to concede loss or failure and change my position.

Until the leaving makes more sense than the staying. Nothing's easy....we just have to ask ourselves if the reason we're still 'cutting bait' is because we really think we're going to catch something, or we're just killing time. Hope everything works out Rosie.

Oh, Rosie, if you only knew how timely this question is for me. I was dating a man for a while and had fallen in love with him, and then the relationship ended. Recently, we started talking again, and yesterday we had our first date since the break up. We also had a chance to sit and talk for a long time. I felt very angry at first, but was able to release the anger during the conversation. This morning I had an email from him saying that for the present we're just friends. I had thought that we had decided to try dating again. I'm so confused. I don't know whether to fish or cut bait.

Rosie, I dont have an answer for this right now and I hope you can excuse me. But I have to tell you that if they had an award for anyone who asked the most "Thought Provoking" questions you would win time and time again hands down! Thank you for this and keep them coming. I might be able to answer a few of them every once in awhile!
