God loves us with Agape Love! It is an unconditional love. All we have to do is repent and accept the love and Salvation that he wants to give.

God loves me absolutely, perfectly, completely, unconditionally, comprehensively, boldly, furiously, and compassionately.

I find it helpful to think not along the lines of "God out there loves me", but "God IS the Love that created all, sustains all, indwells all, and expresses outwardly (as we let Him) as love, peace, & abundance".
