Well, like I have said before, when you want to insult someone, any word will do. These girls are just hoping that mud sticks.
They think because that girl may have a lot of friends, she must be a slut. Just plain jealousy, nothing more.
way back when i went to high school we had a girl who was referred as the virgin slut! she would flirt & make out and steal everybody's boyfriend and all she would do is kiss or maybe a little boob fondling so the guy would dump her and then she would steal another boy friend this when on at least a dozen times she made a lot of enemies
They're too young to know the meaning of the word yo...
The general teenage definition of slut is someone who has too much sex, or it just can be someone who looks so hot or sexy that they have the potential to attract boys at an easy rate.
So, half the time I encounter someone who's portrayed at my school as a slut is incredibly hot or popular, not just someone who has had sex about seven times in two days.
People's aspects of others is most commonly what they want to view themselves as. So when some girl calls another girl a slut or a whore, they're actually jealous of how the other girl gets boys so easily, or is so popular. They want to be that girl, but, in reality, they can't, so they stick to calling others generally degrading names.
It's stupid, but we go through it everyday...
fpr the same reason EVERYTHING someone doesn't like is "gay". people are not very accurate in their insults.
Some teenage girls are cruel. They seek acceptance by the masses, and make a pre-emptive strike against critisism by attacking others.
Probably refering to a certain look more than an activity. By the way, "slut" originally meant an untidy, unkempt girl/ woman. Nothing more - nothing less.
It's called jealousy.
They are just confused.
Sometimes these girls call them sluts because they are jealous that these girls held onto there virginity.
you don't have to be a virgin to be considered a slut. many girls have "been" with a lot of guys doing things that don't require the loss of their virginity. oral sex for example.
They mean something different by slut.
the word "slut" is used loosely when one girl or a group of girls are who are unhappy/jealous of a girl who is pretty and popular with everyone, someone who is a sweet- gentle- shy person, a loner and it doesn't matter what shape or size a person is: big, obese, athletic build or scrawnny. also, looks is a part of being picked on by others, too.
actually the word "slut" has become desensitized like other nasty words. It is demeaning when someone calls another a "slut" or a "bitch" and spreading of untrue roumors.
people tend to pick on others who look like the weakest link. people see: sensitive, gentlness, kind, sweet, meek, humble, very happy; as being weak. also unhappy people who are misserable themselves don't want to see possitivity in others, so they are bent on destroying others and make them just as misserable.
who knows who is a virgin. its just talk without meaning. its nothing personal. just the words of the day. when was the last time you heard a compliment yelled out on the street?
