  • The fastest ball ever bowled that was recorded, was 100mph (160kmh) by Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. Obviously there could have been faster balls bowled not recorded, but bowlers seem to get faster with time (they play more and put much more effort into practice). Naturally also, the professionals are faster than the amuters.
