The Speed Limit!

Mortgages in NC require prepayment of 12 mos of homeowners insurance and 6+ mos of taxes. There are no seller credits allowed, even for closing costs. I find it absurd and contrary to every other state I have owned homes in. It makes the closing costs so high that it prohibits many new homeowners from attaining their purhcase.

In Canada, well Ontario you are not allowed to smoke in restaurants which I totally agree with, no problems there! However, they have gone so far as to ban smoking on patios with any type of enclosures aka patio table unbrella's! I think that is a little far fetched.

My teacher told me that in Quebec, no sign can be in English, or, if they do allow it, the english text has to be half the size of the french text.

In Pennsylvania, we have to buy beer at beer distributers. Can't we just buy it at the grocery store? Oh no, that's way too convenient. How does the beer distributer help anyone? Nobody knows. Yet we still can't simply go to the grocery store to buy beer.
