  • I'd say this one has to be near the top: http://ryugyonghotel.com/ The Ryugyong Hotel, quite possibly the most bizarre building I've seen. It reminds me of an Imperial Star Destroyer from the original Star Wars more than anything.
  • Depends on one's definition of "weirdest"--if that definition were to include so-called "haunted" hotels, then Arkansas' own Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs would be right up there on the list...one of these days, I'm gonna make a weekend road trip just to see what is what...I am psychic myself, and am eagerly looking forward to the chance to spending a weekend in a "haunted" hotel...
  • Maybe The Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast - - though it sounds rather historically interesting

You stay in a refurbished cell and you can even request striped pajamas... http://www.archicentral.com/the-alcatraz-hotel-kaiserslautern-germany-2645/ The second is in England. It is at the Gatwick Airport, or I should say IN the Gatwick airport. These are pod" rooms and rent for the hour or the night. They are about 75 sq.ft. for the basic room. It is actually something that I think will catch on. Great for layovers and such. Very Practical. http://www.yotel.com/
