Do you mean mental illness or loss of cognition due to old age? My cousin developed severe mental illness all of a sudden in her early 20's. She had been on a strict macrobiotic diet and lost a lot of weight. Then she went to a concert and took some LSD and from that day on she has had schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
