I do not understand why they would need a specific day to pray, if your going to pray, I would think they would do it on a daily basis. -
I feel National Prayer Day is great... but it should be everyday.... for the people of this Nation

Didn't even know that one existed. I don't really feel anything about it. I don't really believe in prayer. Back when I was a Christian I found out that prayer was similar to playing lotto. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. But I am not offended by National Prayer Day. Even though I'm Agnostic, I think that the Theists who believe in prayer should have this small commercial holiday. It fits right with Boss day, secretary day, etc.

A national waste of time and very UnAmerican. It's political posturing to get votes from you poor, stupid saps. National prayer...what are we supposed to pray for? The sky to fall? The world to flood again? no wait..the world to burn.. Oh WONDERFUL idea..
