A photo - and this wasn't the worst area. I don't think you could handle it. Some places looked alike a rabbit died under there and then a hobo vomited on it.

You can buy small cans of compressed air to blow off your keyboard. You can also unplug it and give it a good cleaning from time to time. Just dont put it in water. Ps. if you think the keyboard was bad, Crawl under your desk and look behind your computer. You're gonna scream.

I work in a school with 1200 students and nearly 200 staff, and with 500+ pc's, manky keyboards are commonplace. I was told by a member of staff that you can put a keyboard in the dishwasher! I had to try it, and guess what! It worked! Came out really clean. If you try this, make sure it is totally dry before you re-connect it to the computer, and I would only do it with a wired keyboard. (Don't sue me if it breaks, it worked ok for me)

There is a new product line that has washable keyboards, mice, etc. http://www.unotron.com/US/Products.html I have the keyboard and put it through a great deal of testing. Simply shake off the excess water, plugged it in and it ran great!
