Would you recognize a stroke if you had one?

I am sure I would. My wife is an RN and I have done enough reading on it that unless it was a TIA (very mild stroke that often is almost symptomless) I would catch it I bet.

It would be difficult. Not to recognize it, I guess, but to act, because a stoke can effect the brain's recognition of fear, and if you're not afraid, you might not try to get help.

I guess if someone stroked me I could probably tell.
