I would just purchase a replacement. My husband's ring actually melted while he was working on some machinery at work; they told the employees not to wear one while they worked anymore because of that; LOL! We went and picked out a new one for him because it was cheaper that way.

Is your husband that worth?

Heck No. That should be passed on to your daughter. You can always buy your husband a new band. Heck, I don'nt even wear mind.

Just keep your old ring and get him a new one and keep them home, if they mean so much to you. Learn from this loss. Is it really necessary to wear your rings at all times?

You're what's important, not a piece of jewelry. He might not even care if it doesn't get replaced. Or, maybe he loves wearing it. I always hated wearing a ring, everyday, all day. After a few years I lost it. . . no, I really did lose it. I love not wearing any kind of jewelry. I don't even wear a watch.
