  • No, I think it shows a flag print - not a real flag.
  • not really, ive seen plenty of people wear flags in clothing.
  • You would consider that desecration?
  • Per section 1 of title 4 of the United States code: "The flag should not be used as "wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery",or for covering a speaker's desk, draping a platform, or for any decoration in general (exception for coffins)."
  • Yes it does but citizens don't have to follow the US Code about the flag. Palin wrapped one around herself for a photo op for her calendar which was against the code also. Elected representatives should follow the code. It was very disrespectful of her to do so but no one in the GOP complained.
  • Desecrating, maybe, maybe not. Disrespectful, very much so. Not that she doesn't look very hot laying there with nothing but a flag covering her. It's not the actual colored piece of cloth that's important, but rather the idea that it stands for. Not what our country has turned into, but what it is meant to be. At one time our country was great & something to be proud of, great people with great ideas working for the betterment of all that lived here. That is what our flag is SUPPOSED to represent. That is what our armed forces have been dying for all of these years, not some oil field, or a piece of land here or there but the idea of greatness and the freedom to be great. That is why it is deserving of our respect.
