Jeez you can get a new one for less than that!

Never even consider buying a used auto, unless it has the name of Honda or Toyota on it. I had rather buy a used Toyota, rather than a new american made car. The dependability of amercian made autos is just not there. Ask any mechanic. they will repeat my words.

Get a used ford or Chevy full sized pickup truck and you will see it retains it's value longer than any automobile as well as lasting you over 200,000 miles. Pickup trucks are just better buys then cars - if they suit your needs.

2nd Answer. Forgot to remind you to only look for a used vehicle at a car dealership. Buying a used car from a private person is risky and is sold "as is". Buying from a dealer is also "as is", but most dealers will normally work out something for you, if the bought vehicle has problems. Good luck on your search. Again, Toyota and Honda will last you forever. they are dependable and long-lasting. Next time out on the road, observe how many Toyotas and Hondas are out there. There has to be a reason.......dependability. I have a 2000 Toyota Solara with 246.000 miles on it. only replaced the radiator and the timing belt. change the oil every 7,000 miles and you are good to go.
