Wow Samuel that was very hateful. I did not use to be apostolic but have been for several years now. when i first started going to church there i was never told to follow any of the scripture and was never told to hate or tell any other denomination that they were wrong. You cannot pick and choose scripture so while you may follow just to believe, you cant disregard Acts 2:38 or other scripture that discusses baptism or being filled with the holy ghost. does it not say that the WHOLE bible was writen/inspired by God. So why would God put something in his word that he does not mean? God wasnt writing a book to confuse, nor would he have told or instructed us to do things that have some "hidden" meaning. What God says is final and if he instructs me to a higher standard then i will gladly follow it. Life is, afterall, all about serving him and loving others, even those who arent in the apostolic church.

    Samuel

Apostolics known as Jesus only deny the bible as being a trinity and dont agree with rightly dividing the word of truth. They center there relegion around Jesus and he is the only one they worship. They misguide other religions and are very argumentive about the Godhead because they want to cause hateful wording amoung others. The Apostolics are all about the "Emotional Experience". There is no personal relationship in this religion. They get all worked up in this emotional state and think its great when in reality they are the ones who do it not me. The bible says you will know them by there fruits. In reality Jesus foreknew this i believe. He knew one day there would be a religion that professed holiness in the standards. Jesus said "Outwordly they appear beautiful, but inwardly they are like dead mans bones". If that tells you what they really feel about there standards. Why not be set free through Jesus christ. I know i do not have to be saved through this baptism in Jesus name. I follow the words of Jesus in Matt. 28:19, it is a "Commandment" from Jesus that the Father gave to him, he says in the scripture, anything i have learned the Father has given it to me. Jesus was all about his Fathers business. Because he says the Father is greater than I. So if Jesus was the Father he would have NO need to pray to himself. And by the way they believe the Father died on the cross! The Father has no sin, and cannot sin because he is a HOLY God. The Father turned away when Jesus hung on the cross, because Jesus said "Father why have you forsaken me". But all the apostolics want to do is argue and tell you your going to Hell because you do not believe our way. That is not what Jesus said. Who ever confesses that Jesus is Lord SHALL be saved. I know im going to believe that and nothing else. Doctrine DEFINATELY is not number one. It is our relationship to Jesus and the Father that is number one. Say what you like but i know whom I BELIEVETH. And its THE TRUTH!

    GOOD QUESTION

    singwell-is off researching a lot

a lot of smaller groups do so because they do not have a systematic understanding of how the Scriptures fit together as a whole. ALthough the denomination I grew up with has its own shortcomings, one of its strengths was in enabling us to understand God's purpose as it was unveiled gradually through the OT Prophets, down to Jesus.
eg you can summarise it by:
    1. God created everything perfect.Humanity was to rule the earth UNDER GOD's authority.
    2. Humans thought they could do a better job than God, and rebelled against his authority, rupturing the relationship between humans and creation (climate change, pollution, deforestation, extinction ect) between humans and each other (war, hatred, abuse, divorce etc) and between humans and God.
    3. God sent Jesus, His perfect Son, to pay the penalty for the rebellion. By His death and resurrection, humans can be restored into relationship with God
    4. It is every human's freedon to either follow or disobey God, but there are consequences for not doing so, that is eternal separation from Him
    5. God is in the business of saving and changing humans, and preparing for the day when he will send Jesus back to judge the heavens and the earth.
    6. On that day, the old heaven and earth will pass away and there will be new ones.

In the light of this summary, couples with knowledge of who books of the bible were written to, about, and why they were written, many of the most extreme doctrines fade and understanding of the gospel in its entirety replaces them.
I am not saying that groups like the Apostolics are out and others are in....we will all be learning how better to know God when we reach heaven. And will experience a moment of regret, as we see just what we managed to stuff up while we were on earth, myself included. :-)
