Half the churches in the world will lose their congregations because nobody will feel threatened by the threat of spending eternity in Hell.

It would change nothing. Most religious people understand that you don't live your life to win a prize at the end but rather you live your life based on the principles that your faith teaches. That is, you don't help others during your life to avoid hell. You help others because it is the right thing to do.

I don't think it would change much. Most people who subscribe to those ideas don't hold them as the primary reason for their religious orientation anyway. And of course, those who don't believe such things will continue on as before. The main thing that would change is that believers would be unable to use them as threat/reward arguments when attempting to persuade others.

Alot of Christians and Muslims will fell embarrased and humiliated.

Since the Bible clearly teaches that Heaven is being in the presence of God, this changes nothing at all...as long as I go wherever He is, I am content...my reward is His company...and, as for what difference it would make to me on earth, nothing...I would still follow Him out of thankfulness for His goodness to me.

A lot of relgions will be totally altered drastically. People will continue to sin even harsher due to they will not fear of going to hell.
