OK, judging from the responses you've gotten, and your subsequent comments, it sounds like you need a little help here:
There is an alternate meaning to "Pearl Necklace" which has a double entendre, wherein certain....er..."sexual activities" between two people in certain positions will end up with the man's....um...."discharge"...being deposited on and around the neck of his lover.
Because of the color and appearance of this...."discharge"... and it's location around the neck area, it is often referred to as a "pearl necklace".
And NO, The Chief has never owned a "pearl necklace"{ of his own, of either variety!
I have, however, bought my wife a pearl necklace made from freshwater pearls. As to whether or not I've ever given her the other type...I'm not one to tell!

Yes, I've had two of them. I still have one that a dear mother of a friend gave me as a thank you for something I did. She never wore it and had gotten it from her mother. I don't wear it often, but I treasure it as a gift from a lovely lady :-)

Yes I have two, one given to me by an ex room mate when I 1st moved in with her. When I left I attempted to return it to her, to make sure I did the right thing. She refused to take it back.

I have a three string pearl necklace. each string with 54 large pearls.
Original pearls from sea oysters, not the cultured pearls.
My pearls must be over a 100 years old.
A family heirloom actually. But even my wife refuses to wear them.
I wouldn't sell it. Suggest what I could do with them?
