Cool boiled water helps also if on infant formular make up your bottles as normal and omit one scoop of powder.Breast fed babies dont normally suffer with this.

You could also give a 2.5 ml spoon of pure apple juice room temputure always done the trick if the first never worked.Good luck

I don't know about homeopathy, specifically, but here are some natural ways to relieve infant constipation:

Exercise- A little exercise can sometimes work out the excrement. Try bicycling baby’s legs or if he has one, try the Jumperoo or Exersaucer.

Massage- Infant massage can be a natural cure for many ailments and there are plenty of techniques for tummy upset.

If the baby is on formula, that is often the reason for constipation. If the mother is still breastfeeding some, stop using formula and exclusively breastfeed, as it is great for making babies poop!

I had this too with both of my sons. Try glycerien suppositories or a small sliver of Glycerien Soap will do the trick if used as a suppository. Castor oil works to if you mix it in the bottle. And try massaging his tummy and bicycling his legs to help losen his muscels up.

My son who is 12 weeks old and is only breastfed is also having a problem with contipation. Everyone keeps telling me this is normal and that breastfed babies don't get contipated. Today is 9 days since he's pooped. The last 3 evenings he's been miserable, screaming in pain and passing a bit of gas. He is normally a very content baby who doesn't fuss much, so this behavior is unusual for him. This is a pattern that has been going on for 4 weeks. I've been very concerned about it. I went to the health food store today and someone recommended Nux Vomica. I dissolved about 5 to 6 pellets in about 2 tablespoons of filtered water. I gave my son a dropperful (1/2 tsp) every hour for about 4 hours. Shortly after that he had a bowel movement. Yay!! I can honestly say I was very excited to change the poopy diaper!

There is no such thing as a homeopathic cure.  Homeopathy is a fraudulent scam that doesn't cure anything.

well with my son he had major constipation problems when he was a baby. They gave me something called lactulos it is NOT a laxative. It puts water into the bowel to loosen the babies stool. They will not become dependent on as it does not stimulate the bowel muscles.

As far as Mr. Blaylock's comments go, the proof is in the pudding. Homeopathy has cured much for my family, friends and acquaintances, including constipation for infants and adults alike with Nux Vomica. My son was diagnosed with seizures of "unknown" origin which conventional medicine COULD NOT treat. Homeopathy is helping to cure my son. It's all I use now.

Constipation can also be a sign of dehydration, water is a natural way to hydrate the body.

Take a rectal thermometer, lube it with vasoline well, then gently glide it in and out of the rectum. Sounds gross I know, but it will amaze you with the results and is completely safe.
