Mine vary, it could be something I am dealing with, it could be something I was watching on TV, it could be reading another question or answer, that gives me an idea. -
I hope my mind and not from my kidneys!

The "spark" could be anything .. just as with any sort of creative activity or writing. Sometimes it's thinking about a particular category. Sometimes it just "comes to mind" as I'm staring out the window watching the squirrels in the back yard. Soemtimes it's a news story I hear in the car on National Public Radio or something I read or or or or!!! Any or all give me a germ of an idea. And ultimately .. one or more questions. Asking for facts .. or opinions .. or experiences .. or support ... or maybe just something to share/enjoy & have fun with. I do all of the above. A tip? Keep a little pad of paper or 3x5 card or something with you. If something crosses your mind when you least expect it while you're out and about, write it down. :)
