    No, its just as easy. Buy a kit for the type of beer you want to brew. Make sure you sterilize all your equipment first or it might turn out real bad. Good luck.

    The brewing is just as easy... the fermentation is what's different. The primary is about the same while the secondary can take quite a bit longer due to the high malt content in stouts and porters.
