  • Many 'childhood diseases' are a lot more serious when you are an adult. Measels, Chicken Pox, Tonsilitis, Mumps etc. It is definitely better to have them as a child and get them out of the way as early as possible. Of course it's not easy to explain to a sick child that it's for the best in the long run.
  • Bad Bad Bad! I got the chicken pox when I was 21, combined with stepp throat. My throat swelled shut for a week. Felt like broken glass to swallow. Not a good deal. Can make you sterile at an older age. That may have been my problem. Infect your children at a young age!
  • I got chicken pox when I was 20 and I've never been so sick before or after in mt life. I was covered with lesions, even on the soles of my feet and the itching would drive one insane. The glands in my neck swelled up and I had a 102 temperature for 4 days. It took me months to really recover from this.
