Never associated drinking with a puffy face. More like the thoughts of Mumps or side-effects from taking steroids for medical condition, or like this morning when my manager stopped by with some work for the weekend ~ he's awaiting results for Glandular Fever, and didnt look at ALL like he did 2 days ago! Puffy as!

Not at all. Cortisone taken over a long period of time can produce extreme puffiness. Additionally there are drugs to control the pain of rheumatoid arthritis that similarly make people gain weight and appear puffy. I would never assume such a thing. :)

Look at John Ritter played on Three's Company his face was puffy and here he had unknown Heart Disease he was not aware of that he had it took autopsy to diagnose it.
