You can in the UK. I had a friend who used to ride to the pub and the horse used to take him home.The local police used to send any new constables down to lie in wait and nick him as a joke.He didnt mind because he was a magistrate and always got let off with a warning.That was until the time that the horse was intoxicated too but thats another story.

Surprisingly enough, yes you can. I would love to hear the arguments in such a court case ... But the horse wasn't drinking and I was just getting a lift home on a sober friend, your honor !! LOL :)

Who ever gave the horse a drink can be charged with contributing to a minor plus you do not want to be around a horse with a hangover, believe me! :)
