You could consider investing in a folding bicycle that you can store in a corner of a closet. If not that, just make a place for your bike indoors, so that it won't be exposed to vandals, thieves, and weather.

Buy the hooks so that it can be mounted on the wall. That is what I did with mine in college.

Hang it or out it behind the couch.
