Well, I think that asking a bunch of random people about a basic health matter is a REALLY good place to start...! ;-) I bet that there are at least SOME diseases which dogs might be able to carry in their sperm...not unlike humans. I'm sure you won't have hunines/camans ;-)...but I think that some sort of...discreet inquiries...are best. I don't know how you ask a vet this, because they might well believe that it is their ethical duty to report a possible animal abuse situation.
