  • The worst thing is not being in control of what you think or feel when the person is around. You try so hard to please them, not knowing how they'll react. The top worst thing is usually around the beginning, not knowing how they'd return the feeling.
  • When you lose the butterflies you feel when it first starts. Then everything is still good but you still look back at those days when everything was exciting and new.
  • When it ends, the heartache is unbearable. Until the following week when you meet the love of your life for the twelfth time. But as they say, "It is better to have loved than not to haveloved at all" or something like that.
  • The worst thing about LOVE in ENGLISH is that we have only a single word to describe what are, in reality, an entire range of emotions and situations. Some languages fare better, but most are an insult to our complexity. Because we only have the one word, we're conditioned to demand the ridiculous questions "Do you love me?" or "Is this love?" If the language were as complex as the people, there would be way fewer arguments and hurt feelings. Before you protest that there would be way fewer love songs--an art form which attempts to address this discontinuity--I think it could only enhance our production of love songs, poetry, stories. Especially movies and TV, where right now all love stories come off basically the same.

  • If you're talking the love of another person. I'd say the worst thing is not being able to controll who you love or not knowing why you love somebody. For example, I'm in love with a girl I have never met (or maybe the fantasy of the girl I've never met) We will never become anything, I know that much, But I can't date anybody else because of the feelings I have for her. I feel like I'm going mad!
