I have pictures, but they are away in photo albums. It would have to be Poochie, a mongrel, mostly Fotx Terrier we found dumped on our farm. She lived a long time, despite being badly hurt in car accidents twice, and brought us great joy. she was a sweet-natured, intelligent little girl, who knew the sound of the ice cream man, and held up her "sore" paw when we had chocolate. She was also the neighbourhood floosy. We never knew what her pups would turn out like! She even gave sex education to the local primary school, by performing in the playground. Everyone knew her, so the principal rang my mum to get her to come and untangle the dogs. You have to laugh. It all sounds so politically incorrect these days, but dogs ran around in those days, and kids did too. It was a more innocent time.

Litty Kitter Blue Kitten. She was a wonderful Siamese. She was always loving, happy to see me, and had beautiful babies! An unfortunate breeding incident took her and the kittens away from me on one go around. Feline leprosy. So sad, but she and the kittens had to be put down or they would have suffered all their lives-if they lived at all.

The best pet I ever had was a toy poodle, when I was a child. He was my mom's dog, but he followed me everywhere. He slept in my bedroom window when the weather was nice, and on my bed when it was cold. He tried to attack the paramedics when my sister was hit by a car, and she cried when they moved her. He guarded the box the cat was having kittens in. He hated when mom took him to the groomer and they put a ribbon in his hair and painted his toenails blue, he spent the day scraping the paint off his nails. I don't much care for dogs, but he was the best friend I could have had.

I had a toy sheltie when I was a young teen. She was amazing. She could play soccer and throw her own toys in the air to catch them. If you said, "show me how", she threw them up and caught them again. At night, she would lie close to me and I would cry and tell this dog everything. Once I told her to blink once for no and twice for yes and I swear that dog was listening. I really loved her. My boys are pretty awesome now though, but they ae no Bonnie.

I had a dog named Spike. He was a combo of a black lab, husky and pit bull. He had 7 layers of fur and he was blind. He used his other senses to get around and used to play hockey and baseball with my sons. He was the best dog ever. He lived till the age of 13 and had to be put down, he had a stroke and was paralyzed. I cried for weeks & still have a pic of him on my refrigerator. When he died they actually put it in the newspaper, calling him the "neighborhood Dog" cause he visisted everyone on our street and was loved by all. I still miss him and that was 1999. :(
