I'm the sort of person who will sit in the dark and not really worry about it.
-
"Light a candle" ... Cursing at the dark? What if no one is there!?
-
Life is too short, I'd rather light a candle. I'll light one for you while im at it.
-
Light a candle, I wish I could say the same thing about my parents they are the opposite.
-
I am without question a candle lighter.
-
I'm the kind of person who takes time to ponder the darkness then if I really need to, I'll light the candle.
-
If I can I will both light a candle and curse the darkness. Why curse the darkness? Because it caused me to expend the cost, time and effort of lighting the candle instead of working, fishing, drinking, chasing women or doing something else worthwhile.
-
Light. I like to see my surroundings in life. +
-
I would light the candle there would be no point in cursing the dark it wouldn't change a thing
-
Cursing the darkness is more time consuming, expensive, and a health risk. If the time and energy you spend in doing this is placed on lighting a candle, you beam a light that translates into many splendors in the form of other people being helped. In the process, you share the joy of others aside from your own healing from inside.

Light a candle..Cursing the darkness isnt going to solve anything :)
-
Lighting a candle certainly seems like a better option.
-
I like the dark. I move better in the dark. You wont see me coming....in the dark. Yes,i'm j/k........maybe.
-
I'd be the kind to have a hard time finding the candle, curseing the darkness along the way. But once I find it I'll be realived.
-
I curse the light and embrace the darkness. Hard to sleep when it's all bright. >_>
-
I curse the things I run into in the darkness until I can FIND the candle (or a flashlight) to light. ;-)
-
Iam suffering to light that f*ckin candle!!
-
Actually it's rather relaxing to shout insults into the darkness - a Zen like euphoria can descend upon you and you seem to merge with the universe. Now this candle business is something else entirely, you are forced to hold a dangerous ignition source to a poor candle and set it on fire. And you bask in it's radiance while it is violently consumed by the flame. Nothing Zen like in that is there? Feeble illumination for the briefest of moments before the return of the comforting darkness and moan full cries of anguish . Anyway - "life wise" I do a bit of both - I curse sometimes and I burn sometimes....I'm sort of a Renaissance man I guess.
-
Last year we were out of power 24 hours. Oh it was soooo boring. I lit the candles and cuddled on the couch with my daughter. I even managed to read a magazine with the candles. Cursing the darkness is not going to solve a problem. LOL
-
I will light a candle and burn it at both ends-I am determined to live the full breadth of lifes road as well as it's length-
-
Why can't i just keep the darkness.
-
I light the candle. Life is to short to spend pissing and moaning about the dark. Cheer up and live.
