Its an inter peace feeling and a lifting of the dread and deep sadness you can feel. Im not a fananitic on this subject but I do know God does work! I one night was told that my only child, daughter, wasnt expected to make it thru the night because of an overdose and I went outside the hospital and sat in a corner and just cryed, prayed,bargened,and beg for her not to leave me!And I swear to you all of a sudden I litterly felt a lifting of all my sorrow and I just Knew she was going to make it!! And she Did!! That has happened a couple of other times also. He doesnt just come to you in a flipping of a page..Hes to busy to play that game but if you believe (and I mean truly believe) I know as a true fact hes there. Sorry for the speach!!! He comes to me in those ways and others. He often talks to me through other people, and to other people through me. I believe we are an extension of him, you see.

Im a spiritist and when I pray the spirits leave me messages by random events that make me think. but if I am not paying attention I miss it.

Through prayers I have received blessing that I know came through my steadfast prayers. For example I had been put of for nearly six months by Social Security and my money had depleated I had no idea were I would get money to pay the rent in a few days. I laid awake on bed praying all night and about 6:30 a.m. A angelic voice assure me that things would work out but it didn't give me any time frame then I thought "let me go check my online banking and there it was 4,000.00 Deposit Social Security money and I had received no prior correspondence. Another time a sweet voice came to me in my greatest despair when my new born premature baby's life was left by doctors as let's just wait and see. I prayed again while in the hospital all night and heard this angelic voice again say to me this too will be alright and it was everything perfect the next morning and all through this child's life it when the other way as doctors predicted but that sweet voice always came to me each time a doctor told me more discouraging news, keep on believeing girl and praying and everythign will be okay. I just seem to heard a sweet angelic voice giving me encouragement to hold on and keep praying.

If you are a christian,then you have a very personal god and he will answer your prayers in ways that you would recognize and relate to,because he knows you very intimately.

God may answer in many ways. For me, it would be in dreams. I would pray for reassurance and that night i would have a dream about God and He would give me some form of encouragement. God is always listening. Sometimes when you pray, you might not get what you asked for. So, there might not be anything at all. God sees the big picture and definitely knows what's best. Sometimes it could be an idea, or even a gut feeling. You just know. Either that, OR, things will just fall into place.

Based upon what I know of prayer, you are under a misapprehension as to what prayer is. When I pray, it's almost always a prayer of thanks for whatever is happening in my life at the time. It's a way for me to thank God for his beautiful creation, for the life that I have led and am leading, for my five children, for my soon-to-be ten grandchildren, even for the hard places I have been through. Other times I might pray for someone whom I know needs help, but such a prayer always ends with, "As in all things, may your will be done in this matter." God answers these prayers in his own way, at his own time, with his own intent. Usually, it's through events and circumstances. And if I choose to believe that God is answering me, who are you ( or anyone, for that matter ) to tell me he isn't? : )
